Target Groups

General

The overall objective is to secure the sustainable participation of urban poor in Namibia to become recognized actors in promotion of the access to security of land tenure, water and sanitation

Context

Reliable access to land plays a central role in food security and poverty reduction as well as for the sustainable use of natural resources. In contrast, poorly defined land use rights encourage conflicts between different population and land user groups and prevent investment in the conservation and restoration of biodiverse landscapes.

Strengthening Nature-based Agriculture in Vanuatu is a targeted, 30-months development action that aims to enhance food security and improve productive land management. It will deliver benefits to 25,000 people by diversifying and expanding agricultural economies and niche-product value chain development, including the potential for Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES). The action will embed women in the local economy.

To trigger wide-scale adoption of efficient land management technologies and promote green value chains to reduce degradation of productive agricultural land and associated high value ecosystems in Northern Kazakhstan Landscape

Lobjectif spécifique est de renforcer la contribution de la société civile à la bonne gouvernance du domaine foncier. Il ny a pas dimplantation significative des ADH dans la zone dintervention tout comme dOSC qui simplique spécialement dans laccès à la terre ou la résolution des conflits fonciers ou domaniaux. Laction contribuera donc effectivement combler ce vide en mettant les acteurs de la société civile et les structures locales en capacité dassurer la bonne gouvernance foncière et
